Diving in Galapagos is awesome, Galapagos Islands never disappoints, most of the interesting activity takes place in the shallows where the current strikes the reefs. Other important species include Galapagos sharks, white-tip reef sharks, green turtles, stingrays, eagle rays, barracudas, and a variety of invertebrates.

There are diving spots for all diver levels and differents landscapes, dive in a cave with sea lions, turtles, white-tipped reef sharks, rays and large schools of fish, small nudibranchs and hawkfishes as well as small colorful gobies to be found between the rocks.

Dive in an extinct volcanic crater with a sandy bottom at 32 meters, and a wall drop-off outside of around 65 meters. It has 3 exposed rocks that surround the crater and 3 pinnacles ranging from 5- 6 meters under the surface along the northern edge of the crater with one larger pinnacle approximately 21 meters below the surface in the center. There is a good chance of spotting schools of Hammerhead sharks, cleaning stations, Galapagos sharks, white tip reef shark, mobulas rays, turtles, reef fishes, stingrays, eagle rays, Galapagos eel, barracudas, variety of invertebrates, amberjacks and pompano, golden cow rays, marlins and green turtles.

Another amazing Galapagos dive site has the channel between the rocks makes it the perfect habitat for Galapagos Sharks, Whitetip Sharks, Large Rays, Pelagic and Reef Fish, Sea Turtles, and playful Sea Lions.

Galapagos is considered to be a massive abundance of sharks and other marine predators, and in fact, studies have shown that this area has the largest shark biomass worldwide.
